Why Nurses are still Under Paid ?

A Why Nurses are still Under Paid ? ?.

In a nation where physicians are adored as gods, on the other hand, nurses who work hard tirelessly day and night in the presence of the sick, managing all highs and lows, are simply taken for granted. The history of formal nursing education dates back to 1867, and Indian nurses at the time experienced significant discrimination from British nurses due to their rejection from managerial and leadership positions. Without exaggeration, the condition of nurses in India has not improved; the only change we can observe at this time is that nurses continue to face discrimination and humiliation from members of their own community, as well as from patients and medical colleagues.

Although big corporate hospitals that are making enormous profits also pay very little to nurses while paying handsome salaries to physicians and unskilled Duty doctors, no one pays attention to the nurses who care for patients from admission until discharge around the clock, day in and day out. This is not the case in small health-care settings where nurses make a salary range of Rs. 2000–10,000 per month

In the Western world, the nursing profession is a well-recognized and respected field, where nurses are valued equally to doctors and other medical specialists on the healthcare team. As a result, they have made a significant contribution to ensuring high-quality healthcare, but this is not the case in our country.

Why still UNDER PAID ?

If you don't accept the hospital's salary offer, other nurses will accept it at a far lower rate. These nurses are willing to work 12 hours every shift for meagre pay. Why then will hospitals pay you more for the same work? Because of greater compensation, respect for their work, and earnings commensurate with it, nurses relocate to other countries just to earn good pay with respect and dignity.
